Scotland Vs England 1-3
No such thing as a friendly against this mob, and I would love to see a Downing goal and smash them.

Police are expecting a bit of trouble as well so it all set for a classic.

Everyone watching and what’s your score prediction?

3-1 to England for me.

If 75,000 fans were as passionate at Wembley i'd love that. It's just not the case though.

I won't be going wembley again to watch England, it's completely soulless.

I thought our Fans were superb too. But the atmosphere is still better at Rugby according to some on here.

Re: Scotland Vs England 1-3
I think having passion and playing with heart as a team counts for sure. Of course ability is usually the winner though.

I've seen West Ham inexplicably lose some shockers when on paper we've been the better team. We've often turned up and rolled over to a team who fancy it a bit more than us. I've seen it for England too, Northern Ireland beat us when we played Beckham in a revolutionary 'quarter back' role...

Tottenham's entire season has been a team who isn't up for ther fight, when on paper they have some strong international footballers who earn a fuck load. We've gone down a few times when on paper we had a team that shouldn't have. Upson captained one of them and lead how to be a bottle job with class.

It was good to see us rise to atmosphere though. Getting stuck in too. Wilshire was very Moncs like yesterday. Love the fact we bagged a couple in front of the fans too.

Oh and I thought the fans were class by the way, shame it's not like that at Wembley. Proper support.

I'll repeat what I said yesterday at the very start of this thread:

"Some people still think that because Mel Gibson made a fictional movie in the 90's, their players will be more up for it tonight than ours"

One Mac - It is at the top level, certainly. It might me more relevant if a couple sides were meeting up over the park on a Sunday with hangovers.

Since when have Internationals results been based ion who wants it more. Ridiculous.

England won't give a shit about this.

Can see alot of the 2nd stringers bricking it.

Re: Scotland Vs England 1-3
We played well, but the thing is...............

We play well against team like Scotland who play our style of football just a worse version of it.

The test is against teams that can keep possession, because against them we tend to nick the ball but then hoof it away. So I would not get very excited about this. It's all about tournament football

"Wanting/Wanted it more" is one of the most ridiculous excuses people roll out when their team loses, or are expecting them to lose.

Rangers fans don't bother with Scotland they follow Northern Ireland these days they call them "the queens eleven" The Tartan army is mainly made up of the non-Old firm clubs notably Hibs and Aberdeen/Dundee fans.

Best performance from us in a long time.

I know it's only lowly Scotland, but the application from the players was fantastic.

Had that third goal been scored by Spain, Argentina, Germany etc everyone would be pissing their pants about it.

Was a fantastic goal.

As has been said, because they wanted it more. Or so I thought!

I expect us to lose to Ireland next June as well, which I'm also going to.
